Summation
In this theme you have worked with the concepts of Place and Placemaking. You have trained applying the three dimensions of Place to practice and reflected on how the knowledge and perspective of place can nuance your social work practice. Moreover, you have worked with the theme Placemaking and the right to the city, where you have trained how the concept of Place can be used to identify how different stakeholders view a specific place, and how power relations and struggles in urban planning affect the use of places. You have trained using the value rational questions from theme one (from the framework) in combination with the concept of Place and The right to the City, and trained your understanding of the decision making in urban planning, and how to advocate for the vulnerable populations affected by the decisions about how different groups inhabit the city.
